MY NIGERIA 50- GREAT SONGS----Since I was Born

Once again, I could n't help but think about Nigeria, our creativity over the years has been overwhelming especially in the last 5 years. The music industry has become a really money making sector and the competition keeps getting hotter. But we have a lot of the older folks to thank for that; who made music fun, educative and really entertaining. So I have put together my own little list of 50 songs I believe shook the Nigerian entertainment scene, since I was born. I know u may say how about this one and that one, I didn't forget them, I just had to stop at 50....You may agree or disagree, but one thing I am sure is that you will hum some tunes and smile and somewhere at the corner of ur mind; will be a little ounce of pride that you are a Nigerian.....
Catch ya......on the other side.

MY FAVORITE - 50 GREAT MEMORIES OF NIGERIA

Hi Out there, i knows really been a while since i wrote some thing for the internet audience, my apologies. Nigeria turns 50 in 2 days time, many media house will be running various documentaries and features on what makes Nigeria so great or the opposite. Anyways, in the spirit of the celebration, with a little push from the radio geeks at Keffi street, I have taken my mind on a magical journey of Nigeria and produced 50 of my greatest memories in Nigeria. Remember, its about how I feel, but feel free to reminisce and let me know your own memories; and if by any chance you don't find any memory what smiling, laughing, giggling, frowning or hissing about...then you are permitted to enjoy this flight as we fly Nigeria in the Ocharlyie mind airline.....Thanks.....

I'M A CHILD OF THE KING

*
My Father is rich in houses and lands;
He holdeth the wealth of the world in His hands!
Of rubies and diamonds, of silver and gold,
His coffers are full-He has riches untold.

WEAKER VESSELS STRONGER PORTS

How can a Woman be a weaker Vessel??
How can you call the carrier of the fetus for nine months weak
Do you describe the cleaner of a baby’s diaper as weak?
Do you call the one who brings a mighty man to his knees as weak?
The one who wakes up, when all are asleep

A SACRED DISH

A dish was prepared a long time ago
It’s purpose was well defined by it’s creator
It was to be served only on the tables of marriage
But it’s aroma found its way out
Into the world of wickedness and pain

THE LITTLE THINGS

Wow,
It’s been exactly a month that I updated my blog, men I really must get the hang of this thing. Looks like work and the other elements that make Lagos the greatest energy sapper city of all time has gotten the best of me. But I am learning it’s not the big things that matter or the length of the blog, it’s the little things that are consistent that really count.
I'm having one of those weeks where you had it all planned by Sunday evening, prepared all your schedules and cancelled all the distractions that can slowly creep up on you and slow you down; its Friday morning and my list of to do's seem to have changed to a "will likely not be done" list.

A PERFECT GIFT

For every occasion, there is a reason for celebration
For every celebration, there is special gift attached to it
The one year old baby girl wants her first doll
The five year old boy wants his first ball
The eighteen year old boy wants his first three piece suit
The twenty one year old girl wants her first dinner gown
The twenty five year old first class graduate wants his first car keys
