THE LITTLE THINGS

Wow,

It’s been exactly a month that I updated my blog, men I really must get the hang of this thing. Looks like work and the other elements that make Lagos the greatest energy sapper city of all time has gotten the best of me. But I am learning it’s not the big things that matter or the length of the blog, it’s the little things that are consistent that really count.

I'm having one of those weeks where you had it all planned by Sunday evening, prepared all your schedules and cancelled all the distractions that can slowly creep up on you and slow you down; its Friday morning and my list of to do's seem to have changed to a "will likely not be done" list.

The one year old baby girl wants her first doll

The five year old boy wants his first ball

The eighteen year old boy wants his first three piece suit

The twenty one year old girl wants her first dinner gown

The twenty five year old first class graduate wants his first car keys

On Bended Knees

It was one of those cold evenings in the Lagos Metropolis, the elegant couple walked into the Restaurant sharing a joke and laughing in low tones, their usual spot is empty as they sneak into their seats. The restaurant is unusually crowded, maybe because of the rain that seemed to have created a little bit of traffic on the high way causing a lot of the patronisers to re consider the option of going home in the go slow.
