Which in todays africa is very rare.....

we stand to beat our chest when books of histor are being read
You gave us the third higher instituion in Africa
With Nostalgia we remember Nduka Ugbade lift the very first FIFA Under 17 trophy

You have shielded us from the adverse effects of nature
that tinger our ears on th screens of CNN

For Tsunamis... You gave us Oil wells
For Earth quakes....You gave us Groudnut Pyramids
For Forest fires...you gave us cocoa plantations
For Tornadoes....... You gave us coal

You have blessed us with so much abundance
That we marvel if it isn't too much

From the beauty of the hills in Adamawa to the baskets of food in Benue
From the paradise of cross rivers to the Salt lakes of Ebonyi
From the Coal mines in Enugu to the warm springs in Osun
From the beaches of Lagos to the game reserves in pleateu
From the Museums in Kano to the Gardens in Port hacourt

and yet o Lord...Our greatest strenght is our people
A people who can make it anywhere at any time
Because they are a blseed black race
